Irish Coding Standards (ICS) apply to activity coded in HIPE and provide guidance and instruction on all aspects of HIPE data collection by addressing issues relevant to the Irish hospital setting. ICS are developed to complement the Australian Coding Standards (ACS) and are revised regularly to reflect changing clinical practice. Previous versions of ICS are available below.
